Harbourside Nights 9 Jazzy Rocking Christmas

HNights9News

Harbourside Nights 9 at the Railway Club, last friday, turned out to be a jazzing, rocking, graduating and Christmas fun event.
Harbourside IT’s fearless leader, Brian Watson, did an outstanding job, hosting the evening with great humour, a touch of class and a touch of something else.

A great time was had by all, with a diverse line up of performers – Starting out with HiT graduate Bartek Danel playing guitar and singing Christmas songs in both english and polish. Followed by HiT founder, Tony Rudner’s,  jazzy acoustic guitar duo, Schuld and Rudner, with fellow guitarist, Andreas Schuld and Rex Chequer on percussion.

Next was Northern Ignition, an acoustic folk rock duo, comprised of HiT student, Marcus Ramsay and Kurt McQuaid.

Finally, Harbourside IT student, DJ Contakt (aka. Travis Beardsall),  took the night home.

One of the highlights of the evening, and quite an emotional moment, was when Pro Tools Expert and Audio Engineering Instructor, Mike Rogerson, presented Brian Watson with a bottle of high quality bourbon, on behalf of all the instructors at HiT.
