Gabriel, Dan and Magnolia at Harbourside Studios


Harbourside IT graduates, Gabriel Seixas and Daniel Turgeon produced Stephanie Chatman’s new solo project,  Magnolia, at Harbourside Studios. : Vancouver-based musician Stephanie Chatman plays with the Four on the Floor String Quartet alongside members of bands like Mother Mother, the Gay Nineties and Dear Rouge, but she’s stepping out for a new solo project under the name, Magnolia. She’ll release her debut LP — simply titled Magnolia — on February 25, and to give you an early idea of what to expect, Exclaim! has got your first listen to album cut “Brother’s Bothers.”

The new set of songs hears Chatman exploring themes of family and relationships. It was recorded “honestly and earnestly” in Vancouver at Harbourside Studios with producers Gabriel Seixas and Daniel Turgeon.
